Alex Volkov and industry peers discuss the year ahead for LNG

The World LNG Summit & Awards is taking place on a virtual platform from December 1 – 4, 2020. The Virtual Summit provides a forum for the global LNG & gas community to come together at the end of the year and discuss the agenda for the year ahead.

With a focus on LNG demand recovery and the role that natural gas will play in a lower carbon energy future, the World LNG Virtual Summit brings together leaders from across the global LNG & gas business to share their perspectives.

Alex Volkov, Vice President Global LNG Marketing, Upstream Oil and Gas will be taking part in the panel "Setting the new agenda".

After a challenging year, the session is an opportunity to discuss what may happen when COVID-19 loosens its grip on the world and to exchange views on what is the next normal for Global LNG. The main themes that will be covered include:

• The changing macro business environment
• The relevance of gas and LNG in a lower carbon energy future
• The performance of global LNG during the pandemic

This will be the opening session of the summit setting the stage for specific topic discussions during the following sessions.
