This year, ExxonMobil continued its long history of involvement with Gastech, the largest integrated conference and exhibition supporting global natural gas, hydrogen, climate technologies, and low-carbon solutions.
During the event, ExxonMobil hosted 178 meetings at its award-winning booth and a total of seven of our colleagues spoke on panels on various strategic and technical topics. Peter Clarke, Senior Vice President, Global LNG, ExxonMobil Upstream Company, spoke on the demands of the future energy system and underscored the importance of relationships and diversification of supply. Andrew Barry, Vice President, Global LNG Marketing & Chairman, ExxonMobil LNG Market Development, shared how ExxonMobil is reducing emissions throughout the LNG value chain and the importance of those reductions to our future strategy. Tze San Koh, President, China Gas Marketing, discussed how the global breadth of ExxonMobil’s operations make diversity foundational to what we do. And Andrew Elliott, President ExxonMobil LNG Asia Pacific, spoke to the importance of measuring the emissions associated with the production and transportation of LNG and what ExxonMobil is doing in this space. There were also three speakers from our Low Carbon Solutions team, including Irtiza Sayyed, Prasanna Joshi and Tracy Lothian.
Over 800 guests attended our customer reception, where we showcased our Power Play initiative and announced the 2023 Power Play Award winners. The awards recognize and shine a light on the accomplishments of the remarkable women and men who uphold the importance of empowering others in the workplace.
Overall, the Gastech event offered ExxonMobil an important opportunity to solidify connections between employees, partners and customers.
