Dena E. Wiggins
President and CEO, Natural Gas Supply Association (NGSA), United States of America
Dena Wiggins leads the NGSA’s efforts to encourage the supply and use of natural gas. She promotes the benefits of competitive markets to ensure reliable and efficient supply, transportation and delivery of natural gas.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center. Ms. Wiggins has served as a judge for the Power Play Awards since its debut in 2019.
Elizabeth A. Vazquez
CEO and Co-Founder, WEConnect International, United States of America
Elizabeth A. Vazquez delivers the executive leadership and vision for member-led non-profit WEConnect International towards its mission to empower women business owners to succeed in global markets. WEConnect International identifies, educates, registers and certifies enterprises that are at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by one or more women and then connects them to member buyers with more than US $1 trillion in annual purchasing power. The organization supports and promotes over 11,000 women-owned businesses in more than 120 countries.
Ms. Vazquez is the co-author of the book, “Buying for Impact: How to Buy from Women and Change Our World.” She sits on a number of corporate boards and councils and has served on the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on Women’s Economic Empowerment.
She has a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
Jillian C. Evanko
President and Chief Executive Officer, Chart Industries Inc., United States of America
Jillian (Jill) Evanko has served as President and CEO at Chart since 2018 after initially joining the company as CFO in 2017. Prior to joining the company, Ms. Evanko served in leadership and financial positions at Truck-Lite Co., Dover Corporation, Arthur Andersen, Honeywell Corporation and Sony Corporation.
She serves on boards for Chart and Parker Hannifin Corporation as well as non-profit boards of NAM and USISPF.
Ms. Evanko received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from La Salle University. She is the winner of the 2020 ExxonMobil LNG Power Play Rainmaker Award, the 2020 S&P Global Platts Energy Award for Chief Trailblazer and the World LNG Executive of the Year 2020.
Martin Houston
Vice Chairman, Tellurian, United States of America
In addition to his leadership at Tellurian, the NASDQ-listed company he founded in 2016, Martin Houston serves as Chairman of EnQuest, a FTSE-listed oil and gas company.
Mr. Houston is a Non-Executive Director for BUPA Arabia, a healthcare company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and for CC Energy, a private oil and gas company with producing assets in Oman and the USA. He is a Senior Advisory Partner and Chairman of the Energy Group at Moelis and Company and an Advisor to Radia Inc, the mega-wind company.
Mr. Houston is a member of the National Petroleum Council of the United States and works on the advisory board of the Global Energy Policy unit at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs in New York.
He earned a BSc in geology from Newcastle University and an MSc in petroleum geology from Imperial College, London.
Natalia Camba
Director of Local Content, National Petroleum Institute, Mozambique
Natalia Camba creates strategies and policies related to local content development in Mozambique and works as a member of Local Content Task Force, an inter-ministerial group that coordinates local content implementation. Ms. Camba is also a lecturer of Petroleum Geopolitics & Ethics in the Oil &Gas Business MBA at ISCTEM (Higher Institute).
Throughout her career, Ms. Camba has been instrumental in Mozambique’s gas development, working on the Gas Master Plan, Strategy for the Development of Local Market, Strategy for Concession of New Areas, HSE Regulation and more.
She volunteers for organizations that support women’s empowerment, girls’ education and social work.
She is a Chemical Engineer and holds a Master Degree in Project Management of Oil & Gas Industries with specialization in Economics of Oil, Gas and Energy from Liverpool University.
Mervin Azeta
Product and Service Delivery Manager, Schlumberger, Nigeria
For Schlumberger, Mervin Azeta drives operational excellence and business development for two business lines across Nigeria and West Africa.
Ms. Azeta is an award-winning energy professional, intersectional advocate, multi-talented engineer and presidential scholar with almost a decade of industry experience. She is keenly passionate about sustainable development, gender equality and youth engagement as well as cultivating the next generation of female scientists, technologists, engineers, mathematicians and transformative leaders.
She serves on multiple boards inspiring a shared commitment to deliver a cleaner, healthier, secure and sustainable energy future for all.
Ms. Azeta holds a BEng, with First Class Honors, in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, as well as an MSc, with Distinction, in Sustainable Energy Futures, from the Imperial College London.
Ohoud Khalid Ahmed Al-baker
Asst. Manager of Development, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar
Ohoud Al-baker is responsible for managing the delivery of QP’s development strategy and programs for all leaders and professionals. She is also responsible for delivering on the strategic Qatarization objectives for QP.
Ms. Al-baker joined QP in 2006 and has since served in Human Resources Personnel Administration, Strategic Workforce Planning and Learning & Development. She specializes in designing and implementing various talent strategies that are driven by business needs.
Ms. Al-baker earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English Language and Literature from Qatar University. She also has a Diploma Human Resource Management -HR Management from the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
Frédéric H. Barnaud
Group Chief Executive Officer, Pavilion Energy, Singapore
Frédéric Barnaud is the Group CEO of Pavilion Energy and the Director of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pavilion Energy Spain S.A.U.
Mr. Barnaud has over 30 years of experience in the energy industry. At Pavilion Energy, Mr. Barnaud spearheaded the organization’s expansion into global gas and LNG markets, including the company’s first Europe presence. He was an instrumental figure in driving and concluding Pavilion Energy’s launch of the world’s first LNG supply tender with carbon-neutral ambitions.
Previously, Mr. Barnaud held key leadership roles in Gazprom, Total SA and Elf Aquitaine.
During his career, Mr. Barnaud successfully led major international negotiations for LNG liquefaction and/or exports involving in particular Qatar, Russia, US, UAE or Nigeria and Norway, and for LNG sales and/or regasification terminals across the world.
Tebogo More
Chief Executive Officer, Avon and Dedisa Peaking Power, South Africa
Tebogo More leads two OCGT plants with a combined generating capacity of 1,005 MW. Being South Africa’s first large IPP projects, the two facilities play a critical role in providing backup power to the national utility during emergencies.
Ms. More has played a leading role in the strategic development and execution of organic and inorganic growth in the mining, civil engineering, power, water and manufacturing sectors in South Africa and the rest of Africa. Working in business development, she played a principal role in the development, bidding and closing of renewable energy (wind and solar) projects in excess of ca.1000 MW.
Throughout her career in energy and finance, Ms. More has immersed herself in the infrastructure sector value chain from financing to development and from construction to operations.
Stuart Broadley
Chief Executive Officer, Energy Industries Council (EIC), United Kingdom
Stuart Broadley is Chief Executive of the EIC, the Energy Industries Council.
Mr. Broadley is passionate about increasing exports, diversification, decarbonization and being the voice of the integrated energy supply chain. He is the architect of the Energy Exports Conference, which brings 20 inward delegations to the UK each year with $500 billion of project opportunities, and is author of the renowned Survive & Thrive annual report, which highlights successful growth strategies in challenging markets.
Prior to joining the EIC in 2016, Mr. Broadley enjoyed a successful 25-year career leading global O&M businesses in oil & gas, power, renewables and defense with positions at Rolls-Royce, Wood, Senvion and Hoerbiger.
He servers in a number of non-executive director roles, including with the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in the UK and the Nuclear Innovation & Research Advisory Board. In 2019, he was invited to become a Fellow of the Energy Institute.
Tolulope Longe
Manager, Production Support, Nigeria LNG, Nigeria
Tolulope Longe has committed her career to working across the entire value chain, with positions in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, from design to commissioning and operations of an LNG plant, as well as stints supporting crude oil refineries and gas-to-liquid (GTL) plants.
Ms. Longe holds a B.Sc Chemistry (Industrial) from the University of Ibadan, MBA (Risk and Portfolio Management) from Imperial College, University of London as well as a M. Tech Petroleum Technology from the Curtin University of Technology, Australia.
She won the 2020 Power Play Vanguard Award for outstanding leadership. She values people and is passionate about the development of those around her, with a particular focus on women and the young.
Yao Li
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, SIA Energy, China
In her 20 years working in Chinese energy policy and the oil and gas sector, Yao Li has developed a deep understanding of the structure, drivers and dynamics of the Chinese government, Chinese national oil companies and Tier-2 Chinese LNG players. She advises SIA clients on entry opportunities, partnership strategies and oil and gas policy, with an expertise in Chinese and oil/gas markets and value chain partnerships.
Prior to co-founding SIA, Ms. Li served in roles with PFC Energy, a Washington DC-based oil and gas advisor, expanding the firm’s China subscriptions and consulting business, while establishing a valuable network in China’s energy industry along the way. Previously, she worked in the private sector in Oman, where she was exposed to the technical side of the oil industry and the economic needs and priorities of the Gulf States.
Ms. Li holds a Master of Science degree from the Edmond A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, DC and a Bachelor of Laws degree in International Politics from Renmin University of China.
