Ir. Ts. Irene Lock Sow Mei
Senior Process Engineer, Petronas
Ir. Ts. Irene Lock Sow Mei is a Process Engineer at PETRONAS Group Technical Solutions, specializing in sustainable water technology for the oil and gas sector. A top graduate of Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, she has received multiple honors, including the IEM Best Engineering Graduate Gold Award. Irene is professionally recognized as an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer (IChemE, UK), and Associate Fellow of the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology—the youngest to hold that title.
An advocate for gender equity in STEM, she serves as an Office Bearer in the Women Engineers Section of IEM, leading initiatives to empower women in engineering. Her work has earned her the IChemE Young Industrialist Award, Malaysia’s Prime Youth Award, and international accolades such as the International Young ADIPEC Technical Professional of the Year and Egypt Petroleum Show Nex-Gen Female of the Year. Irene is a global role model for excellence, innovation, and inclusive leadership in engineering.

Zhang Huiyu is currently the General Manager Assistant in the Natural Gas Trading Division of Beijing Gas Group Co., Ltd., where she plays a key role in supporting the company’s LNG business operations. Bringing over 16 years of experience across international trade, LNG marketing, and customer service, Huiyu has strong communication skills and deep industry knowledge. Prior to joining Beijing Gas Group in 2019, she served as Manager of the LNG Marketing Department at New Star & BECE Natural Gas Co., Ltd., part of Beijing Enterprises Clean Energy Group. She also held senior roles at Sinopec International Petroleum Exploration and Production Corporation, where she directed international trade activities, and began her career in customer service. Throughout her career, Huiyu has been recognized for her strategic insight, operational excellence, and ability to navigate the complexities of China’s evolving natural gas landscape.

Tricia Baker leads the CIRRUS Low Carbon financing product at PACE Equity, overseeing strategic planning, marketing, HR, and sustainability reporting. She joined the firm after 15 years at Johnson Controls (JCI), where she held leadership roles in global marketing and business management. At JCI, Tricia led teams in Brand Management, Digital Solutions, Market Research, and Customer Engagement. She was also Senior Marketing Business Leader for a start-up focused on IoT software and building tech, and led Market Intelligence and Field Marketing for a $1B division serving public sector energy efficiency projects.
Tricia holds an MBA from Marquette University and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She also holds certificates from Dartmouth’s Tuck School (Brand & Reputation) and Northwestern University (Big Data & Analytics). Named a 2024 Woman of Influence in commercial real estate, she serves on the boards of CO.nxt and the Sustainable Business Council and volunteers for the Ice Age Trail.
